Product design is about creating physical products that work well, are easy to use and look good. At the same time, they need to be practical and economical to manufacture.
We particularly enjoy working where product and interface design come together. This allows us to consider both the physical product and the way people interact with it.
We also look at the entire product life cycle, considering environmental impact, durability and recyclability from the beginning of the design process.
From the initial idea to the final 3D surface model, the design development process takes place in CAD. Digital 3D sketches help us find solutions to specific design challenges, explore new possibilities, and develop different variants. These different versions also help us communicate ideas within the development team and with the client. Establishing a shared vision among all stakeholders is an essential part of the design process. As the design process moves forward, the selected concept is progressively refined through surface modelling and prepared for handover to engineering and manufacturing. CAD data can also be adapted for renderings, product visualisations, user manuals, and marketing materials.
Rapid prototyping provides a cost-effective way to make design and interaction concepts tangible, allowing many aspects of the design and engineering to be seen and tested early.
Design and engineering issues can be identified early, and suitable solutions are integrated into both the product design and engineering through an iterative process.
Once the design and interaction concept phase and CAD modeling are complete, supporting the engineering process and coordinating with the relevant manufacturing methods become essential parts of the design process. By bringing design and engineering together, we can develop products that combine user-centered design, technical excellence, and economic efficiency into a clear, market-ready solution.
