GrainSpector

GrainSpector uses image processing to analyze grain samples based on a range of parameters, including grain type, impurities, grain diseases, broken kernels, and husks.

As part of the QualiKorn collaborative project with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at TU Ilmenau, we developed innovative display and interaction concepts for both the GrainSpector hardware and software. A particular focus was placed on ergonomics, ensuring comfortable use in both seated and standing positions while allowing the system to be adjusted for users of different heights.
